Colour and Texture variations

All of our bricks are manufactured using natural raw materials, the unique method with which our products are manufactured can create natural weathering on the surface and as a result develop individual character.

Bricks handmade and manufactured from clay can vary from batch to batch in colour. This occurs do to a number of natural factors including, mix of material, sand colour and firing conditions in the kiln.

We would always recommend you order the correct quantity of bricks required for your whole project. Blending from packs will also disperse any weathering similarities.
If you order from two separate batches you may experience colour variation.

We offer a full and comprehensive range of technical data sheets for all of our products. Test sheets and performance declarations can be supplied upon request.

Efflorescence

Efflorescence is naturally occurring phenomena which occurs in brickwork. The presence is usually seasonal, temporary and over time disappears by itself.

Thermal

Heritage bricks are all made from clay and have a high thermal mass, providing a comfortable indoor climate in all seasons. Summer heat allows clay to store heat and release as the external heat reduces. During winter clay helps absorb and retain the internal heat creating a thermal barrier.

Heritage bricks act as a thermal buffer making them ideal for energy efficient housing projects. Restorations and Renovations.
