Manhattan brick slips, give a great work out
In this case study we are going to take a look at FLY Fitness and their recent revamp using our Manhattan White Brick slips.
In an age where fast food is abundant, and as a population we are increasingly sedentary it is becoming more important to look after yourself.
This wonderful gym is based in the ancient city of Bath, the city itself has an long history of wellness and social relaxation. With a natural spa the city has benefited from these healthy luxuries since the roman times.
FLY stands for ‘First Love Yourself’ and is a modern 21 century gym which focuses on wellness and fitness. A state of the art approach to fitness and personal enhancement, this is a highly successful gym catering to the people of Bath.
Design
With wellness as a major theme within this modern gym, the designers have made use of space light and ambiance to create a stunning workout area.
The gym area gym boasts everything needed to help maintain a healthy routine. Incorporating a full range of modern fitness equipment, which includes bikes, treadmills, cross-trainers, stepper and rowers.
The gym area has a night and day mode installed with nigh lighting offering ambience and endurance heightening atmosphere. Open ducting and aluminum ventilation systems giving a very industrialised appeal.
The addition of our Manhattan white brick slips in the fitness studio adds a whole new design angle. Having a traditional loft style theme, the room has a calm and transient feel to it.

Artistic, bold and extremely versatile. Our Manhattan White brick slips are a strong favorite for use within Gyms, sports centers, offices and retail outlets.
Setting a crisp and clean look, our Manhattan white brick slips worked harmoniously with the wooden floors and are highlighted majestically with the use of mirrors in the room.
All the slips we fixed using our rapid set adhesive and all individually placed by hand giving a superior and hand laid feel.
Natural white mortar was used within this installation. Installed meticulously by hand, again cutting no corners on quality and execution.
Result
FLY Fitness have managed to create a Gym that really does shine above the rest. This business is likely to become one of the most popular fitness destinations in the city of Bath. We applaud the use of our Manhattan white brick slips and the way that they have been subtly included into the deign.
Fly Fitness Bath has been designed to perfection and installed with precision.
