Quick Answer

Question – Are bricks easy to cut?

Answer –Yes

Detailed Answer – Are bricks easy to cut?

Bricks are made from clay and are fairly easy to cut. The most common method of cutting when on site is by using a tool called a brick bolster or cold chisel. This method often required a little skill to get right, brick layers tend to use this method as it is quick to use and requires no machinery.

Bricks can also be cut using a standard angle grinder. Angle grinders can be fitted with specialist stone cutting disks. These disks are specially made to cut through stone and masonry.  When using any machinery always follow manufacturers guidance and wear appropriate protective PPE.
