All real clay kiln fired bricks are fired to temperatures exceeding 900°C. During this firing process the natural clays molecular composition is changed. Once this chemical change has taken place, the process cannot be reversed. The clay cannot be returned to its plastic state.
Bricks are automatically A1 classified due to the extreme temperatures of over 900°C that bricks undertake to achieve a ceramic bond.
