Miller & Carter Steakhouse – Resorts World, UK

Classic, refined and traditionally beautiful

Our popular Olde Watermill brick slips once again take pride of place in the latest Miller & Carter installation.

Truly authentic the Olde Watermill brick slip continues to be a firm favourite amongst restaurant and public house installs. We are extremely proud that one of our products has gained so much personality in recent times.

Resorts World is a tailored social venue that meets the needs of visitors from across the world, with most visiting exhibitions and shows at the neighboring NEC.

With many eateries within resort world Miller and Carter have take up prime place recently with the opening of a new Steak house.

Ambient in feel and carefully designed this great restaurant serves up a great experience for diners 7 days a week.

Design

Reinforcing the chains reputation for quality, our Olde Watermill always lives up to its reputation.

As the design concept the area makes use of the fantastic views across the lakes and uses natural light to the max.

A large open plan area that is divided by timber and brick work breaks holds the key to this modern yet old looking restaurant.

To keep an old historic feel in a modern installation our brick slips were the only choice. Enhancing a natural throughout they offer texture and colour and a canvass for light to shade.

Hints of tartan in the furnishings and rich red coloured carpets bring a warmth and feeling to the whole area.

Open real clay brick work always has its place within the design of great British eatery’s.

The mixture of brickwork, rich wooden elements and furnishings are the ingredients for a perfect relaxing eating environment.

Product

Our Olde Watermill brick slips were used throughout this installation. One of the most popular brick slips in our collection the Olde Watermill covers all bases.

The Olde Watermill Brick slip is cut from genuine bricks and has a finished texture usually only achieved from handmade bricks. With a subtle blend of colours and wonderfully natural appearance this brick slip works amazingly well within this installation.

With a solid surface and randomly unique nuances this brick once installed could have been there 100 years.

For this reason the Olde watermill is a firm favourite for restaurant and bar installs.

A selection of brick slips and brick slip corners make up the key featured areas. Installed with our adhesive and using a pointing mortar the walls that bring history to this restaurant are indistinguishable from the real thing.

Result

A quality installation at a great venue. Miller & Carter Resorts World showcases how perfectly effective real clay brick cladding can be.

Rich tones and textures, expertly lit and an inviting atmosphere. We would like to think our Olde Watermill brick slips have contributed perfectly to the inviting feel of this wonderful steak house.
