Introduction
One of the most inspiring projects featuring our Lambeth Mixture Brick slips. Situated at one of the world`s busiest Airports, with an annual passenger rate of over 78 million travellers. Holiday Inn have delightfully placed their latest design driven hotel at the gates of terminal 6.
Showcasing our Lambeth Mixture brick slips the Holiday Inn`s designers have placed emphasis on modern design and crisp execution.
Design
The hotels location is set slap bang in the middle of the terminal 6 area.
When approaching from outside the building the first thing that stands out is the Lambeth mixture brick slip columns which separate the glass panes of the bar area.
A theme that is closely followed when you walk inside to the bar. Forget chintzy decor and thick pillared special areas. When you step inside this superior bar area you are instantly taken back by the very modern but comforting style.
There is much that sets the design of this particular hotel bar apart from the rest. Maybe it is the rich and diverse selection of travellers that have inspired the design.
A large and impressive brick slip feature wall installed behind the bar brings a strong and warming character to the whole area. Lit up with stylish warm lighting and elaborate mirrors the brick work acts as a rich textured canvass.
The whole bar area has a discreet quality that sets it apart from most.
The furniture and fittings add splashes of red and blue which work in harmony with the varied amounts of brick work, timber and tiling.
Product – Lambeth Mixture Brick Slips
The right product choice was almost certainly made. These styled London brick slips were a perfect choice for Holiday Inn Terminal 6.
Lambeth mixture brick slips are both light in texture and rich in colour which makes them a perfect choice for bar and restaurant installations.
The Brick Slips are expertly cut from a custom blend of handmade bricks. The Lambeth mixture hosts ample amounts of character and successfully brings together a delightful mix of yellow and red tones.
The installation used a selection of brick slips, brick slip headers and brick slip corners. Brick slip corners were used around the glass window reveals. The corners were also used externally to give depth to the pillars.
The whole installation was installed using our Rapid Set adhesive and pointed with a gun injected pointing mortar.

Designed and installed to impress, this case study has succeeded in showcasing how our products really can be used to change a room on a large scale.
This installation has been one of the nicest we have seen using our Lambeth Mixture brick slips.
