Introduction
The modern workplace has changed significantly in recent years. Offices that were once depressing and clinical are being transformed into a variety of different ideas and designs.
The last decade has seen a major shift towards open plan office spaces. Young technologically prolific companies are walking in the footsteps of Googleplex and Facebook.
Millennial’s constantly demand engaging and thought provoking environments. This stunning suite developed for London based Connect Ventures offers up some great examples of this shift in the times.
Design
In a bid to increase collaboration and social interaction the designers of this super modern suite have maximised on open spaced areas.
With bright coloured furnishings and interesting industrial textures this design brings a great level of confidence.
The office kitchen area boasts premium fitting set against our Olde Bayswater Brick slips.
The kitchen area brick slip wall has been installed perfectly, with the mortar being crafted and pointed with precision.
The intensity and detailing used within this installation is impressive and evidently inspirational.
Product
The designers of Connect Ventures suite chose to opt for the Olde Bayswater Brick slips. The Olde Bayswater has a consistent solid red clay base. Like reclaimed and handmade bricks these slips are full of character and can vary substantially in both colour and texture.
Distinctive and unique the choice of brick slip couldn’t have been better. The brick slips look great across this large social office area.
This project saw the installers use a rapid set tile adhesive to fix the brick slips to the wall surface. Pointing was achieved using our Light grey gun injected mortar.
On projects such as this it is always advisable that gun injected mortar is used for speed and appearance.
Result
A great installation that presents our product in a modern and calming way, reinforcing the ethos of a company that is all about connections.
